My reason for starting a blog is twofold. First, it will serve as a sort of online scrapbook that I can look back on, as well as being a fun little project (as if I need another one). It will be mostly photos, perhaps with some haikus thrown in on occasion, and if I’m feeling generous maybe even a thought or two.
And second, I wanted to challenge myself to using my “real camera” more, like I used to enjoy doing. I considered doing a photo-a-day challenge, but realistically decided that five photos a week gives me a bit more wiggle room. The goal will be 300 photos in the next year, all taken on different days.
Will 97% of the photos be of Jack? To be determined, but the chances are high.
(Update: the other 3% are of food.)
I’ve never been good at consistency when it comes to these things, so I have shared the blog link with my mother and my three friends for accountability, because Gretchen Rubin says I need it. So, hello mother and three friends, you are welcome but not obliged to follow along.
What better way to kick this off than with a taste of heaven. (Yes, there will be sweets in heaven and nobody will get bloated or have a gluten intolerance.)
Love it Madeleine!!! I look forward to reading more! I’ve always wanted you to write something!! Let me know how this all works!
am I one of the friends?
